[ Spock's breath catches in his throat, that flash Jim's worries and fears seizing his chest as if they were his own while they crashed through Spock's mind. It's gone even before Spock finishes inhaling the next breath, but it leaves him tightening his arms around Jim, pressing his face into the back of Jim's head. He reaches even further along their bond for Jim, the cord flaring bright gold, the physical all but forgotten save for the inherent intimacy of it. ]

Wrapped here in Spock's mindscape, Jim will feel the difference of the Vulcan word versus the translation into Standard, the meaning of it much more poignant to Spock. It pulls at something deep within Spock to even think about; it's something he'd never thought he'd ever experience. ] We are shared within each other and are made whole.
