[ Spock leans in one more time, one last kiss brushed across Jim's lips before he himself settles on the bed, arms wrapped loosely around Jim's back. ]
[True to his (not very well thought out) word, Jim begins to stir about 12 hours after the most intense sex of his life. He slowly wakes up out of a refreshing (for one) sleep, the only thing off being how sore he was. Not just his ass where he expects it, but his chest and hips are sore and...he slowly cracks open an eye, inhaling deeply and bringing up a hand to rub at his eye. A quick glance down reveals purpling bruises against his hips and on his chest. It was the painful kind of sore, not the deliciously warm kind of sore that was the rest of his body this...morning? afternoon? He wasn't sure.
Jim rubs at his face and he's never been this relaxed that he can remember. He feels...at peace. He's going to have a hard time leaving Spock's bed.]
[ The movement and deeper inhale catches Spock's attention from the desk chair he's been sitting at. He's been up for a couple hours by bow, though he hasn't ... actually gotten up. Dressed in the sleep clothes they shucked aside last night, Spock still looks a little mussed and wholly not prepared for the day (afternoon by now).
He turns the chair to face Jim, his expression softened and hinting at a smile. ]
[Slowly, very slowly, Jim sits up fully. Unlike Spock, he's stark naked. The bruises are obvious against his skin. He rubs at his hips, the side that primarilt got held down by Spock. There's a faint grin. As much as it hurt, there's a small part of him that's practically gleeful about the marks--like being possessed.]
[ Spock's frown only intensifies as he sees the dark bruises. A flare of guilt rises up in their bond—it seems intense for such a small thing, "louder" than it's felt int the past. ]
[There's a brief pause before he comes forward for a chaste kiss that's full of affection. He's still feeling part of the emotional rollercoaster from last night.]
[ Jim's acceptance more than the kiss is what makes the rest of that flare of guilt die down to mere background noise, not dire enough for attention anymore. Well, the kiss does help too, but that's just more for making him relax again, returning it with his own small swell of emotion behind it. ]
[ There are still moments when he's surprised by moves like that so there's a small hitch of non-responsiveness before he settles his hands on Jim's hips as both an anchor for balance as well as an intimate hold on him. ]

Good afternoon. I trust you rested well.

Afternoon huh? I slept like a brick.
[He stifles a yawn by turning his head to the side. He looks back up at Spock going to move at the same time.]
How long've you been up--
[At the end of that sentence, he freezes and winces slightly. The soreness is much more obvious when he attempts to move.]

Nothing this human body can't handle.

You are in pain?

It's not bad, seriously.

You obviously needed the rest.

No thanks to you.

You do not protest it as you had at the time.

Well yeah, I had no idea what the hell you were doing at the time.

...Yeah because you were probably thinking more than 5 seconds ahead of time. That was ruthless.
